The Twins’ top two prospects — two of the best in all of baseball — will play in the MLB All-Star Futures game on July 14 in New York.
Outfielder Byron Buxton will play on the U.S. team and third baseman Miguel Sano will play on the World team.
Buxton, 19, was recently promoted to Class A Fort Myers after he hit a whopping .341 with 8 home runs, 55 RBI and 32 stolen bases in 68 games at Class A Cedar Rapids.
Sano, 20, was promoted to Class AA New Britain earlier this month. In 56 games at Fort Myers, he hit .330 with 16 home runs and 48 RBI in just 56 games.
