Twins Class Double-A prospect Miguel Sano went 1-3 with 2 RBI in his return to the lineup for the New Britain Rock Cats on Sunday, according to the Pioneer Press.
Sano was benched for four games last week after showboating during a 29-second home run trot on Tuesday. Most of the showboating was seemingly done right after he hit the ball.
Fellow Double-A prospect, Alex Meyer, is scheduled to throw a bullpen session later this week. He hasn’t pitched since hitting the disabled list with a shoulder strain June 1st.
