The Minnesota Timberwolves dropped their second straight game, falling to San Antonio 108-83 at Target Center.
1. Spurs just too strong
San Antonio put together a textbook dismantling of the Wolves. The Spurs shot 53 percent from the floor, knocked down 10 three-pointers and had six players score in double figures.
Kawhi Leonard had 19 points to lead San Antonio, while Tony Parker finished with 14 points and six assists.
Some pretty impressive ball movement ends up with West's layup and foul. Spurs are just offering life lessons now.

2. Tyus Jones plays a role
Fresh off his return from the NBA-D League, Wolves rookie Tyus Jones got some time on the floor for Minnesota. Jones finished with six points on 3-of-7 shooting.
Interestingly enough, with Jones back in the fold neither Kevin Martin nor Andre Miller saw the floor in the loss.
3. Wolves young stars struggle
It wasn’t the best night for any of Minnesota’s young stars. Andrew Wiggins scored just 10 points and played 31 minutes without a rebound.
Karl-Anthony Towns did have another double-double. He finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds, but was just 4-of-12 shooting.
Zach LaVine led Minnesota with 17 points as well as four assists.
