The Timberwolves pulled off another upset on Friday defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 96-86. It’s the first time this season the Wolves have won three straight games.
Point guard Ricky Rubio was once again sensational, posting a double-double with 14 points and 14 assists. Over his last 3 games, Rubio has registered a ridiculous 46 assists.
Karl-Anthony Towns also posted a double-double with a game-high 29 points and 17 rebounds.

Minnesota played stellar defense as the Thunder shot just 38 percent from the floor.
Russell Westbrook posted another triple-double – his 19th of the season– with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. But he shot just 7 of 23 from the floor and had 10 turnovers. His 19 triple-doubles are the most in a single season since Wilt Chamberlain had 31 triple-doubles in 1967-68.
With the win the Wolves are 14-26 and are just three games out of a playoff spot.
