The third quarter was the difference in the Wolves’ 105-89 loss at Golden State Tuesday night.
In the quarter, the Warriors outscored Minnesota, 31-16. The letdown came after a solid first half in which the Wolves trailed, 55-54.
Ricky Rubio once again struggled with his shot. He hit just 1-of-13 shots against Detroit on Saturday, and followed that performance up with a season-worst 0-for-10 against the Warriors. Over the last three games, Rubio is a combined 4-for-33 from the field.
Steph Curry scored 24 points for Golden State, but it was Klay Thompson’s 30 points leading all scorers.
Thompson is the son of former Golden Gopher and No. 1 overall pick of the Lakers Mychal Thompson.
