Ricky Rubio’s outstanding play over the last ten games continued as he led the Wolves to an 87-82 win over the Wizards at Target Center on Wednesday night. The win snapped a six game losing streak. Rubio had another near triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 6 steals.

Rubio, meanwhile, also came up just shy of posting a triple-double in four of his prevous eight games.
Feb. 13: 18 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assissts against Denver
Feb. 24: 16 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists against the Clippers
Feb. 28: 13 points, 8 rebounds, 13 assists against the Lakers
Mar. 2: 12 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists against Portland
Nikola Pekovic (abdominal strain) and Andrei Kirilenko (strained calf) did not play and aren’t expected to play until at least next Tuesday against San Antonio. Minnesota has two games between now and then — at Denver Saturday and versus Dallas on Sunday.
