The wait is almost over. Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman is expected to meet with Vice President of Basketball Operations David Kahn Saturday afternoon and decide whether Ricky Rubio will play Saturday night against the Dallas Mavericks.
Rubio, who stayed in Minnesota during the team’s 113-102 win in New Orleans Friday night, hasn’t played in more than nine months since tearing his ACL last year. If he does play, there’s no telling how much time he actually sees on the court.
