The Timberwolves were blown out in Houston Thursday night by the Rockets, 129-106.
Both teams had to play without their big men, Nikola Pekovic is still out for the Wolves, while Dwight Howard missed the contest for Houston.
That wasn’t a problem for the Rockets though, as James Harden scored a team high 28. Donatas Motiejunas helped with 20. They were two of seven Rockets in double figures.

After building a six point lead in the first quarter, the tables turned on the Wolves. Houston outscored them 37-21 in the second quarter and it was never a game after that point.
The lone bright spot for the Wolves might have been the play of rookie Gorgui Dieng. He posted his second double-double in as many nights. Dieng scored 22 points, collected 21 rebounds and dished out four assists.
Kevin Love had a game-high 29 points.
The Wolves (34-33) return home on Sunday for a big game against Phoenix.
