Regulation wasn’t enough for the Timberwolves and Knicks on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. It took overtime for Minnesota to beat the New York Knicks 95-92.
It was the Wolves first overtime victory of the season and just their 15th victory of the year.

Kevin Martin led the Wolves in scoring for the second straight night. With 22 points, he was one of three Wolves players with 20 or more on the night. Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins each had 20. Gorgi Dieng had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Timberwolves castoff Alexi Shved helped keep the Knicks in the game. He scored 20 points, had five boards and six assists in the game, while Langston Galloway had a team-high 21.
The Wolves (15-53) return to Target Center on Sunday to host Charlotte.
