Nolasco confirmed the signing on his twitter account by changing his avatar picture to a Minnesota Twins logo, and Jon Heyman of CBS Sports backed up Catillo’s reporting.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available, but it looked early in free agency as if Nolasco would command $13-15 million per season.
The biggest free-agent contract ever given by Minnesota was to Josh Willingham, a three-year, $21 million contract two offseasons ago.
The 30 year-old Nolasco split time between Miami and the Los Angeles Dodgers last year, compiling a 13-11 record with a 3.70 ERA.
