Multiple sources are reporting that right-handed reliever Michael Tonkin is on his way to Minnesota to join the Twins bullpen.
According to the Star Tribune, the move means that Casey Fien, who left Wednesday’s game because of soreness in his pitching shoulder, is headed for the disabled list.
Fien was one of three Twins that left Wednesday’s game because of injury.
