So … who’s in center field?
The Minnesota Twins traded Denard Span last week and it was assumed that Ben Revere would be the new guy in center field, not to mention a leadoff man, but the team has traded Revere to the Phillies, NBC’s HardballTalk reports.
CBS’ Danny Knobler reported Phillies pitcher Vance Worley, 25, is part of the trade, MLBlogs reports.
The Twins would also get pitching prospect Trevor May, CBSSports reports. He was the Phillies minor league pitcher of the year in 2011 and was ranked as the Phillies’ second best prospect by MLB.com, the Star Tribune notes.
