Reports have been circulating of a potential draft-day deal between the St. Louis Rams and the Minnesota Vikings involving a quarterback.
With the NFL Draft on Thursday there are conflicting reports the Rams have discussed a trade involving quarterback Sam Bradford to the Vikings.
Bradford was the #1 overall pick in the 2010 draft. Injuries have marred his career in St. Louis, including last year when he missed the last half of the season after tearing his ACL.
St. Louis holds the numbers 2 and 13 picks in the first round and they are believed to be interested in a quarterback.

The report surfaced Monday from St. Louis radio host Tim McKernan, who attributed the information to CBS NFL analyst Jason La Canfora.

The biggest obstacle in the way of this trade could be Bradford’s contract. He is scheduled to make $14 million in 2014, so any deal would require Bradford to reduce his contract, according to The Viking Age.
But there is reason for optimism on Bradford’s future. Prior to his injury during his seventh week of play, Bradford was having a solid year. He had thrown for 1,687 yards, 14 touchdown passes, only four interceptions and for a career-high QB rating of 90.9
A deal between the two teams would likely have to involve Minnesota’s eighth pick and St. Louis’ 13th pick. Rant Sports reports it also likely would have to involve either Christian Ponder or Matt Cassel.
Other reports indicate, though there have been no talks between the Vikings and Rams regarding Bradford.

Pro Football Talk reports that while the Rams have done a lot of homework on Manziel they remain committed to Bradford.
