After leading the Golden Gophers women’s basketball team to the NCAA Tournament this season, head coach Marlene Stollings is reportedly leaving to coach at Texas Tech.
Multiple reports say the move is being finalized.
Told a verbal agreement is in place with @Stollings taking the Texas Tech job. One person directly involved notes that there is a nice bump in pay involved. So #Gophers AD Mark Coyle gets to lead yet another coach search. I'd say those are definitely one of his strengths.

Stollings led the Gophers to a 24-9 record this past season and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
In four years at the U of M she compiled a coaching record of 82-47.
