ESPN’s Marc Stein is reporting that the Wolves are among five teams that have made an inquiry about Brooklyn free agent guard Shaun Livingston.

Livingston, 28, has played for eight different teams during his nine-year NBA career. He played for the Nets last season where he averaged 8.3 points per game, the second highest average of his career, and 3.2 assists per game. He made $1.3 million last year.
Fox Sports North’s Phil Ervin gave his list of five potential free-agent targets for the Wolves, with Livingston No. 1 on the list.
Many thought Livingston’s NBA career was over in 2007 when he suffered a gruesome knee injury, but he has now fully recovered and has become a coveted free agent around the league.
Ervin also listed Lance Stephenson of the Pacers, Chandler Parsons of the Rockets, Josh McRoberts of the Bobcats and Ramon Sessions of the Bucks as possible free-agent targets for the Wolves.
When it comes to the Wolves offseason moves, it is impossible not to mention Kevin Love. With Love vowing not to re-sign with the team after his contract ends next season, the Wolves are looking to move the 6-10 power forward.
Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press said the Wolves will be holding off on moving Love until LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony decide where they are playing next season. Krawczynski and others believe that the teams that whiff on signing James or Anthony will be interested in trading for Love.
