The Vikings are reportedly trying to line up a second interview with Cincinnati defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.
ESPN’s Adam Caplan is reporting the Vikings are expected to interview Zimmer a second time early next week.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport takes the report one step further, saying the interview will take place Monday.

Vikings general manager, Rick Spielman, was expected to interview 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman in Charlotte on Saturday. The 49ers are in Charlotte getting ready to face the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs on Sunday.
The Star Tribune reports Arizona defensive coordinator Todd Bowles is also expected to be a finalist, but the Vikings haven’t spoken to Bowles about a second interview as of yet.
Earlier in the week, Zimmer was thought to be emerging as a favorite to become the Vikings next head coach.
The Vikings have conducted several interviews for the job already, including Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
They have been linked to trying to schedule interviews with several others including San Diego offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt,
Minnesota fired former coach Leslie Frazier following the end of their 5-10-1 regular season.
