Andrew Sendejo’s brief career in Philadelphia is over, and he’s reportedly on his way back to Minnesota.
Citing sources, NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Vikings have claimed the veteran safety after he was waived on Tuesday by the Eagles.
Sendejo, 32, spent eight seasons in Minnesota before signing for Philadelphia this past offseason.

He only started one game for the Eagles this season, though played in all nine.
The Vikings decided against picking up the $5.5 million option on Sendejo’s contract, after a groin injury in Week 5 ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Sendejo’s time in Philly was marred by committing numerous “senseless” penalties, per Inside the Iggles, as well as accidentally injuring his own teammate Avonte Maddox with a helmet-to-helmet hit against the Packers.
