After initially making the roster on cutdown day, the Vikings decided to release punter Matt Wile and will reportedly sign Britton Colquitt, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Colquitt is a nine-year veteran who spent the past three seasons with the Cleveland Browns. He’s averaged a net yardage of 40 yards a punt in his career.
Assistant head coach Gary Kubiak is familiar with Colquitt from his days coaching the Broncos and the two were part of the 2015 team that won a Super Bowl.
Wile spent one season with the Vikings and was a solid punter averaging over 45.2 yards per punt in 2018, but clearly Mike Zimmer and company felt they could do better with someone else.
The signing of Colquitt is just the latest in the carousel of special teams decisions. Minnesota ended up cutting Kaare Vedvik, who they traded a fifth-round pick to acquire in the middle of training camp. Vedvik has since signed with the Jets.
