The $25 million guaranteed is the second most for any inside linebacker in the NFL, trailing only the $27 million Carolina’s Luke Kuechly got, according to Spotrac.
Kendricks has led the Vikings in tackles all three seasons since being drafted in 2015, finishing with 105 in 2015, 126 in 2016, and 136 in 2017, according to Vikings.com.
Kendricks was among a handful of key players that are due to become free agents after the 2018 season. The others are Stefon Diggs, Danielle Hunter and Anthony Barr.
