The Minnesota Vikings have made another addition to their secondary, reportedly agreeing to terms with safety Xavier Woods.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Woods will get a one-year deal worth $2.25 million.
Woods was a sixth-round pick in the 2017 draft and spent the first four seasons of his career with the Dallas Cowboys. During his time in Dallas, Woods averaged 61 tackles per season and recorded five interceptions.
Woods is the latest addition to a Vikings secondary that has had an overhaul in the last week. Patrick Peterson agreed to a one-year deal on Mar. 17 and Mackensie Alexander reportedly agreed to return to the Vikings on Friday night.
Woods will have the opportunity to replace Anthony Harris, who signed with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month.
