Multiple media reports indicate that another name has surfaced in the Minnesota Twins’ managerial search.
The Twins reportedly interviewed Blue Jays manager Demarlo Hale.
New #MNTwins name, per source: they have interviewed Demarlo Hale.

According to the Pioneer Press, the Twins requested permission to interview Hale Oct. 7 and were granted that permission earlier this week.
Hale has made several stops in his baseball coaching career. He was a highly successful minor-league manager, then joined the Texas Rangers staff in 2002. He spent from 2006-2011 with the Boston Red Sox.
Hale was the third-base coach for Baltimore in 2012. He was a finalist for the Blue Jays’ managerial job along with John Gibbons that offseason. After losing out on the job, Hale joined Gibbons’ coaching staff there.
Hale is the second known minority candidate to reach the interview stage with the Twins. Last week they reportedly interviewed Cleveland first-base coach Sandy Alomar Jr.
Others from the Twins coaching staff have also been interviewed including Paul Molitor, Class A manager Doug Mientkiewicz and Triple A manager Gene Glynn.
Wolfson wonders if a longer search makes it more likely the Twins will look outside the organization.
Unearthing D. Hale makes me wonder a) if there's another name yet to be brought up, b) if an external hire is becoming more likely. #mntwins

Sports Illustrated notes the Twins also interviewed White Sox third base coach Joe McEwing and Red Sox bench coach Torey Lovullo, who Wolfson says “nailed it.”
But there is one intriguing name still floating out there, who has expressed interest in the job and who reportedly hasn’t been contacted.
Former White Sox and Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen returned from a European vacation this week. According to the Pioneer Press, Guillen is believed to have strong interest in the Twins job.
