The Twins are entertaining the idea of re-signing left-handed starter Francisco Liriano, according to the Star Tribune. Per the report, the Twins have talked with Liriano’s representatives, and plan to talk further at next week’s annual winter baseball meetings. Liriano was traded from the Twins to the White Sox late last year.
Liriano would be a mid-rotation starter if he returns to Minnesota. Aaron Gleeman has a list of back-of-the-rotation starters available on the free agent market.
