The Timberwolves are still looking for a player or two to fill out their roster before training camp opens at the end of the month.
According to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders, Minnesota worked out a ton of free agents lately.

The most notable names on that list are Trey Burke and Anthony Morrow.
Trey Burke
Wolves fans are probably familiar with Burke, because he was drafted by Minnesota in 2013.
However, he was traded on draft night for the No. 14 and No. 21 picks, which the Wolves used to select Shabazz Muhammad and Gorgui Dieng.
Burke spent last season with the Washington Wizards after three solid years with the Utah Jazz.
His numbers dipped last year, but during his tenure with the Jazz, Burke averaged 12 points per game and 4.3 assists.
He’d be a solid option at point guard, but unless Minnesota wants to give up on Tyus Jones, it’s probably unlikely he’ll land here.
Anthony Morrow
Morrow is a nine-year veteran who’s a 3-point specialist.
Over the course of his career, Morrow had knocked down 41 percent of his shots from behind the arc. With the Wolves lacking shooters, Morrow would be an ideal fit.
He made $3.4 million last year, and Minnesota could offer him the veteran minimum – which is pretty much all the Wolves have to offer with the team up against the salary cap.
Moving on from Muhammad
After kicking tires earlier this summer on bringing Muhammad back to the Wolves, Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press believes he’ll be signing elsewhere.
