P.J. Walters will join the Minnesota Twins in time to start a game this weekend in Detroit, according to Rochester Red Wings reporter, Jim Mandelaro.
P.J. Walters just told me he's being promoted to #mntwins and will start this weekend. Pedro Hernandez starts for @RocRedWings on Friday.

Walters will take Vance Worley’s spot in the starting rotation. Worley was demoted to Triple-A Rochester after another rough start Wednesday against the Braves.
By the way — This is how Philadelphia remembers Worley.
In 2012, Walters went 2-5 with a 5.69 ERA in 12 starts with the Twins. The right-hander is 4-2 with a 3.39 ERA in nine starts at Rochester this season.
Fans will have to continue to waite before they see Kyle Gibson make his MLB debut. Gibson is 3-5 with a 3.25 ERA at Rochester this season.
