Diggs’ status was up in the air after the wide receiver didn’t show up for practice on Wednesday, then fueled trade speculation Thursday when he said there’s “truth to all rumors” – his response when asked if rumors about him wanting to be traded are true.
Head coach Mike Zimmer then refused to say whether Diggs would play or not, only saying he needed to “watch the tape.”
But with Diggs on the field Sunday, Minnesota will have it’s full complement of weapons available to quarterback Kirk Cousins, who gets a chance to play one of the NFL’s worst passing defenses.
New York is allowing 279.5 passing yards per game and has surrendered eight passing touchdowns in four weeks.
