Multiple reports suggest that Ricky Rubio will make his season debut Saturday when the Wolves host the Dallas Mavericks. If the reports are accurate, Rubio will have missed the first 20 games of the season because of his continued recovery from a torn ACL he suffered in March.
Rubio’s return will affect the guard rotation. Head coach Rick Adelman has been using Luke Ridnour, Malcolm Lee, J.J. Barea and Alexey Shved at point guard. Lee, who has made 12 starts, is most likely to see his role reduced.
