Encouraging news for the Timberwolves. Star Tribune reporter Jerry Zgoda says injured Wolves Ricky Rubio, Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic all practiced Sunday as Minnesota prepares for its Wednesday game against the Denver Nuggets.
Pekovic, according to Timberwolves.com reporter Mark Remme, said he felt a little pain but nothing too serious and he expects to be fully ready to go Wednesday.
Rubio and Love, who are scheduled to come back in December, participated in 5-on-0 walkthroughs for the first time.
According to Wolves coach Rick Adelman, having Rubio and Love taking part even in light routines gives their teammates a sense for the type of squad this group could be when at full strength.
