Adrian Peterson is no worse for the wear after suffering a sprained ankle in the Vikings’ 38-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
According to a report from ESPN, Peterson’s ankle was not a concern late Sunday night and Josina Anderson says Peterson will “be ready to go” for this week’s game on Sunday Night Football against the New York Giants.

Peterson left the game with the injury in the second quarter and later returned to play. He finished with just 63 yards on the day.
Peterson leads the NFL with 1,314 rushing yards this season, just nine yards more than Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin.
Todd Gurley (1,023 yards) is the only other running back with more than 1,000 yards this season.
