Adrian Peterson says he’s in no rush to find a new team. That’s a good thing if today’s report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is accurate.
Barring a dramatic shift, Adrian Peterson is not expected to have a deal with prior to the draft. Teams involved will continue to monitor.

The teams known to have talked with Peterson are the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints, whom Peterson visited over the last couple of weeks.
If Peterson goes unsigned through the draft, the list of teams still looking for a 32-year-old early-down back like Peterson will likely be very short after the long list of talented running backs in the draft find new teams, according to NFL.com.
How long could Peterson remain a free agent? Possibly until “the start of the preseason and maybe even into the regular season,” NFL.com’s Marc Sessler says.
