Thursday night was a crazy night for NHL fans. One minute NHL Players’ Association Executive Director Donald Fehr was telling reporters he thought they had reached an agreement with the NHL on “dollars.” Minutes later Fehr received a voicemail from the league rejecting their latest Collective Bargaining offer.
“It looks like this is not going to be resolved in the immediate future,” Fehr said.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman accused Fehr of “spinning us all into an emotional frenzy.”
