Don’t get your hopes up to see Joe Mauer back in the Twins lineup anytime too soon.
La Velle Neal of the Star Tribune spoke with Mauer on Thursday, and the All-Star catcher said he’s still battling symptoms from a concussion he suffered August 19 against the Mets.
“I start feeling symptoms when I start to get my heart rate up,” Mauer said.
He says the “process has been a little longer” than he hoped.
