Timberwolves forward Andrei Kirilenko may or may not be back with the team next season.
Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports that Kirilenko will probably make a decision whether to accept or decline his $10 million option for 2013 after the June 27 NBA Draft.
If he declines the option, he would be free to sign with any other team, or possibly sign a multi-year extension with the Wolves — likely for less than $10 million a season.
President of basketball operations Flip Saunders sat down for an exclusive interview with FoxSportsNorth.com and said he won’t know what he’s going to do in free agency this summer until he knows if Kirilenko will be back.
