With Jeff Teague (foot), Derrick Rose (ankle) and Tyus Jones (ankle) battling injuries, the Timberwolves are signing free-agent point guard Isaiah Canaan to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Jones and Teague are already ruled out and Rose is questionable for Wednesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzles, leaving the Wolves with Jerryd Bayless as the only healthy point guard on the roster.
Canaan, 27, played 19 games with the Phoenix Suns this season and averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 assists and 2.6 rebounds. The former Murray State star has the ability to shoot from deep (35.1 percent career 3-point shooter) and has historically taken very good care of the ball (1.1 turnovers per game).
Canaan has been attempting to comeback from a nasty broken leg that he suffered last January with the Suns.
Two straight losses have dropped the Wolves to 24-26 on the season, 3 1/2 games behind the Clippers for eighth in the Western Conference.
