A portion of the Big Ten men’s basketball schedule for the upcoming 2013-14 season leaked on Tuesday.
The single-plays portion, to be exact.
Single-plays are opponents a team in the Big Ten plays just once, rather than twice during the conference schedule.
Richard Pitino’s Golden Gophers will play Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan State and Indiana just once during the season (barring a meeting in the Big Ten tournament or a postseason tournament).
Minnesota will host Illinois and Indiana, and play on the road against Michigan State and Nebraska.
Last week, match-ups for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge were released. The Gophers will play Florida State, who missed out on the No. 1 ranked high school recruit in the country on Tuesday when Andrew Wiggins chose to go to Kansas instead.
