Members of the St. Louis Cardinals have tested positive for COVID-19, according to MLB Network’s Jon Heyman. What it means for the Minnesota Twins is unclear, but the Twins did play a two-game series against the Cardinals at Target Field on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Major League Baseball has postponed Friday’s game between the Cardinals and Brewers, though the Twins-Cleveland game for Friday night in Minneapolis is still on as scheduled.

The incubation period for COVID-19 is anywhere from 2-14 days, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The players who tested positive, who have not been publicly identified, were tested Wednesday in Minnesota, according to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Minnesota is schedule to face Cleveland at 7:10 p.m. Friday.
Earlier this week, numerous players and coaches with the Miami Marlins tested positive for COVID-19, prompting all Miami games to be postponed until at least Tuesday. It had a domino effect on other teams as well, as the Yankees-Phillies series was postponed due to Miami having played in Philadelphia when the infections were discovered.
