Former Gophers wide receiver A.J. Barker, who quit the team and ripped head coach Jerry Kill last month, has accepted a scholarship to play football at the University of Houston next fall, his brother, Ross, told the Pioneer Press. Ross said his older brother is “super excited now that he has a coach that truly believes he’s the real deal.”
Barker’s is unlikely to leave behind a legacy about catching seven touchdown passes this season, but instead for writing a letter accusing Kill of mistreatment. Read the letter here.
