Don’t expect Adam Thielen to suit up with the Vikings when they host the Redskins on Thursday night this week.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the hamstring injury Thielen suffered while making a touchdown catch in Sunday’s 42-30 victory over the Lions will keep him out this week, with Pelissero noting that Thielen suffered a “mild hamstring” strain” that makes him “highly unlikely to suit up Thursday night.
More from NFL NOW on #Vikings WR Adam Thielen, who got relatively good news on his hamstring and is targeting a Nov. 3 return against the #Chiefs. @nflnetwork pic.twitter.com/u5iP5qv6m0

Pelissero brought some good news, too, noting that the Pro Bowl wideout could be back in time to play the Chiefs in Kansas City the following week on Nov. 3.
Thielen was injured making his only catch of the game against the Lions, which turned out to be enough to keep him tied for the NFL lead with six touchdown receptions.
With Thielen out, the Vikings will likely turn to rookie Bisi Johnson, who had four catches for 40 yards and a touchdown against Detroit.
