Will the NFL allow the replacement referee drama to stretch into Week 4 games?
It’s a question that has sportswriters and opinion-makers working into the wee hours these days, as the great zebra debate of 2012 rages on.
There are several very-Minnesota takes out there on exactly what’s going on and why. Let’s start with newspaper veterans Joe Soucheray and Patrick Reusse.

Ex-Viking Fran Tarkenton calls the current state of affairs “a disaster” — but says the NFL shouldn’t cave.
