This afternoon brought plenty of news from around the NFL.
In Leslie Frazier’s afternoon press conference, he said he has not talked to ownership about his future with the team.
Frazier said he is focused on this Sunday’s game against Detroit, and that he’d like his players do the same.
Meanwhile, east of the border, Packers linebacker Clay Matthews re-injured his thumb yesterday in Green Bay’s loss to Pittsburgh, and reports aren’t favoring the four-time Pro Bowler’s chances of playing Sunday against Chicago in a game that will decide the NFC North.
Matthews broke the thumb in early October and missed over a month while recovering from surgery, and head coach Mike McCarthy said earlier Monday the training staff “didn’t feel very good” about the most recent setback.
The Packers will take Matthews availability for Sunday one day at a time as the week moves on.
Meanwhile on the west coast, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said former Vikings’ wide receiver Percy Harvin will not practice this week, meaning he will likely miss Sunday’s regular season finale against St. Louis.

Harvin’s only appearance this year came against the Vikings, a game in which he touched the ball just twice. Harvin aggravated his surgically repaired hip multiple times after that appearance, and there’s no word whether he will be available for the playoffs.
