The radio voice of the Vikings from 1991-2000, Dan Rowe, died Friday.
According to Lindsey Guentzel, Rowe’s wife informed WCCO of his death and said he had been battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Rowe’s first season with the Vikings featured a three-man booth, including former Viking Dave Huffman and the one and only, Jesse Ventura, according to a 1993 Post-Bulletin story.
Rowe was replaced by Paul Allen in 2001 by current play-by-play voice, Paul Allen.
Dang, that sucks. Palms to the sky for his family and friends. Prayers, too. #Vox https://t.co/3Qm7uy3T1w
