Stefon Diggs is having an awesome start to the season.
The second-year wide receiver from Maryland has been off the charts during the first three weeks – catching 20 passes for 325 yards and a touchdown. It appears that many people are starting to take notice.
After three weeks, no receivers in the NFL grade out higher than Diggs, according to Pro Football Focus.
Highest-graded #NFL WRs this season:
1. Stefon Diggs, 88.0
2. Larry Fitzgerald, 87.1
3. Doug Baldwin, 84.7
4. Terrelle Pryor, 84.2 pic.twitter.com/H6VLgYnsi2— PFF (@PFF) September 28, 2016
Diggs has quickly become a favorite target of new Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford. The two connected nine times for 182 yards and a touchdown against Green Bay. As a result, Diggs was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week.
The question is, can the same guy who didn’t dress for the first three weeks last season sustain it?
Monday Night Football will be another good test as the Vikings host the New York Giants, in a matchup that will put him head-to-head with another one of the NFL’s great receivers – Odell Beckham Jr.
