Minnesota Vikings fans love to ridicule the coach and the quarterback when things start to go wrong.
But after Thursday night’s 17-15 loss to the Cowboys, Minnesota’s sixth loss in their last seven games, fans may have to look for a new scapegoat.
Mike Zimmer wasn’t even at the game – after having surgery to repair a detached retina, and it would be hard to fault how Sam Bradford played Thursday night.
People are probably going to blame Sam Bradford for this loss, and those people are fools.

Bradford connected on 32 of 45 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown. He even ran twice for 10 yards in the game.
According to Pro Football Focus, while Bradford’s play has waned some in the last couple of weeks, Bradford’s passer rating, while under pressure is 87.5 – third best in the NFL only behind Tom Brady (93.6) and Russell Wilson (88.9).
For the season Bradford is completing 71.2 percent of his passes for 2,662 yards and 13 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions.
With numbers like that, it’s hard to say he’s the reason for the Vikings struggles.
