After dislocating his non-throwing shoulder last Thursday, Vikings’ quarterback Christian Ponder is active and will start against Seattle at 3:25 today at CenturyLink Field.

It comes as no surprise considering the steam leading into today’s game was that his injury was “considered minor.” Add to that Ponder’s determination to play since injuring the shoulder against Washington 10 days ago, and it seemed nothing would make this decision go the other way.
In other injury news, former Viking and current Seakhawk wideout Percy Harvin will make his season debut against Minnesota today. Harvin has been recovering from offseason hip surgery and is only expected to see the field in a limited role, with 10-15 snaps being the number we should hang our hats on.
What to expect from #Seahawks WR Percy Harvin? I’m told 10-15 plays, depending on flow of the game. Would be surprised if he plays specials

Percy Harvin will be worked back in slowly – maybe 15 snaps, as the Seahawks round into health: http://t.co/qw6IkRFLSt
