The Vikings injury situation is clearing up a bit.
Coach Leslie Frazier says Kyle Rudolph and Harrison Smith both passed their concussion tests, and both are expected to play against the Green Bay Packers Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Percy Harvin, meanwhile, will test his sprained ankle in practice today.
As for playing the Packers, Frazier says he thinks the players realize what’s at stake on Sunday and says no motivational speeches are needed. In his words: “We need everybody energized and ready to have their best game of the season.”
Quaterback Christian Ponder also met the media today, saying the team is “excited” to face Green Bay.
“We know how good an opponent this is and what this game means,” Ponder said. “It’s a great week to be at work.”
