Chatting with play-by-play guy Paul Allen, Ponder took full responsibility for Minnesota’s 23-14 loss at Green Bay Sunday, saying “It was so obvious that the things that I did cost us the game.”
Ponder passed for just 119 yards, including two game-killing interceptions. The loss dropped Minnesota to 6-6, severely damaging their playoff hopes with just four games left in the regular season.
“The fans deserve better at the quarterback position,” he said. “I understand what is at stake.”
