Props to the Pioneer Press for picking up on quarterback rankings that we weren’t planning on stumbling across today.
Buzzfeed released its “post-game style” rankings for NFL quarterbacks. Vikings gunslingersuperstar extremely average QB Christian Ponder came in at No. 8 on the list.
The rankings were based on what each QB wore to their post-game press conferences following week one games.
Here’s the Buzzfeed reaction to Ponder’s suit: “That’s a good fit on the suit but it’s a bit like what Mark Sanchez rocked when he showed up in NYC and we all know how that turned out.”
When it comes to stats that actually matter in the NFL, Ponder ranks No. 30 among quarterbacks in passer rating. His blistering rating of 63.1 is better only than Cleveland’s Brandon Weeden and Jacksonville’s Blaine Gabbert.
