Percy Harvin’s last season in Minnesota was contentious to say the least.
The wideout was seen screaming at coaches on the sideline early in the season during a game, a spat some reports claimed was about poor quarterback play. He then missed the last seven games of the 2012 season, as well as Minnesota’s playoff loss to Green Bay with an ankle injury and migraine headaches.
Coincidentally, or maybe not, two days after Harvin was dealt to his current club, Super Bowl XLVIII-participant Seattle, a report came out that said migraines were no longer an issue for the Florida alum.
Despite the rocky exit for Harvin, Vikings fans have apparently channeled their Minnesota nice, with 79 percent of Purple-backers in an ESPN poll saying “good for him” when asked how they felt about Harvin appearing in the Super Bowl.
The former Viking, who has played in just two games this year while recovering from hip surgery and most recently a concussion, returned to Seattle practice Wednesday after missing Seattle’s NFC Championship win over San Francisco. He is expected to play next Sunday against Denver.
