Eden Prairie police are investigating a suspicious package sent to the Minnesota Vikings training facility earlier this month, the Shakopee Patch reports.
Police and firefighters were called to Winter Park just before 11 a.m. on Jan. 8 to investigate a parcel that contained an unknown substance.
A chemical assessment team conducted preliminary tests and determined the material was not hazardous. Final tests are still pending, according to a city spokesperson.
The team has done a pretty good job of keeping the incident under wraps, considering the local news site published the story more than two weeks later.
The Vikings have not yet commented.
