Twins’ third baseman Trevor Plouffe is eligible to come off the disabled list Saturday, but he won’t be joining the team anytime soon. A bruised bone in his right thumb still causes him pain when swings a bat, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be ready until at least late next week.
