If the Minnesota Vikings use their 23rd pick in the draft, its chances of landing a perennial starter/Pro Bowl-player are decent, according to Ben Goessling of ESPN.

It’s the second time in four years the Vikings own the 23rd pick in the draft. In 2013, Minnesota took defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.
Since 1970, 12 of the 46 (26 percent) players taken at No. 23 have made at least one Pro Bowl and 28 of those players have started at least four years in the league.
Perennial Pro Bowl defensive backs Ty Law and Antoine Winfield were taken at 23. ESPN draft guru Todd McShay, in his latest big board, says the Vikings would take safety Karl Joseph from West Virginia.
Sid Hartman of the Star Tribune, however, is coming in with late steam and he believes the Vikings will wait for an offensive tackle. History has shown Pro Bowl offensive tackles have fallen to No. 23 a few times, including Bruce Armstrong (6 Pro Bowls) and Jeff Hastings (2 Pro Bowls and 1 All-Pro).
